A restoration is underway on a SdKfz 223 scout car in the Patton Museum collection.  Info here:

This 223 had a horizontal frame antenna.  At some point the external frame was torched off by cutting the four vertical supports 
near the body.  The mounts and the internal bits remain. From what is still there, it is clear that the antenna could be raised 
and lowered by a crank inside the vehicle.

There are no radios and no radio wiring in the Patton Museum 223.  The rack for mounting radios is intact.

I took photos of the remaining antenna and radio mounting parts and will share them if there is interest and I can find them.
