Ok! Thanks for the great information on this! I am hoping that in amateur
service, that the amp will last longer than it would in military or mars
service.
I might also try interconnecting the RT-618 with my URT-23 amp (AM-3924 /
RF-110A)
I checked the milsurplus archives and I see the ad you mention from Bruce
WA8TNC. I will contact him. I wonder if this manual WRC-1 is good or should
I look for a specific URC-35 manual? Bruce advertised:
NAVSHIPS 94840(A) TECHNICAL MANUAL FOR RADIO SET AN/WRC-1
AND ANTENNA COUPLER CU-937/UR - Volume I. 4 February 1964.
I guess I am not sure whether the manual would cover the use of the 618 or
only 1051/827/AM3007/CU937. I will contact Bruce, maybe he can advise
further.
