The Birminghamfest this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) is better from a military
surplus situation than I've seen in recent years.

Gear sited:

TCS-12, receiver stock, but transmitter modified with coax connector and speech amp.
CDA-T crystal oscillator for AN/ART-13 (not sure if rest of installation kit was
      included).
BC-442-A antenna relay
ATA modulator and dynamotor
BC-456 modulator and dynamotor
DY-2A/ARR-2 receiver dynamotor
R-808/GRC-14 (Boy, what a monster!) for $150
R-392/URR (by W.E., 1963 contract) for $200
LM-14 freq. meter, with cal book

There were a few other items and quite a number of civilian vintage receivers.

I left with the ATA modulator/dynamotor, the DY-2A, a Clegg 22'er, and a working
1934 Crosley Model Sixty-One BCB/SW radio. Everything else listed above was
still there when I left mid-afternoon.

I was tempted by the R-808/GRC-14, but did I mention what a monster it is?

Overall, this was a much better boatanchorfest than is typical for this region.
It continues tomorrow. I was happy.
