These ridiculous draconian policies went into effect last year.

If you list your item under collectibles such as in antique radio or 
military stuff and you won't have the stupid and probably illegal 21 day 
hold. Ham radio equipment is lumped in with cell phones and Ipods which 
why their is the 21 day hold.

If someone is searching for what you have for sale, it will show up in 
the search results regardless of the category it is in.

Ebay has been going down the toilet for a year which was when they got 
their new idiot CEO John Donahoe who publicly called small sellers 
"Noise". He is pushing through is ridiculous policies come hell or high 
water and the results are showing and it's not just because of the 
economy. Look at the stock and read the Yahoo message board.
