[Milsurplus] 618S

I have two 618S-AI aircraft sets.I am wondering whether this set was used for military aircraft. The nomenclature is 618S-1A, what is the -1A mean? Also this set has a PTO, rather than banks of crystals, & one of them has been modified for SSB, I can see the SSB filter & the miniature pencil tubes (complete with shields) used in the SSB modules. Hopefully they will be easy to get on air!
