Thanks Robert. I just wanted to be sure. I could write a couple of books
on what I "don't" know about such things. Thank goodness for this list
and guys like yourself who do know.

Yes.  The "fine print" (not always accurately followed) in the
nomenclature system says to do it this way, rather than T-47A/ART-13A.
But if the component number is changed, it's done the other way, as in
T-412/ART-13B.  As another example, SG-85C/URM-25D is a component of
AN/URM-25J.  You would have to look at a progression of all of the
AN/URM-25 family in order to understand how it came about.
