[Milsurplus] USMC - modded BC-312 seen online

I've never seen a BC-312 with nameplates like this on it. But there were
two 24 VDC models of the BC-312, and at least two DM-21's. Unfortunately,
the seller cut off the right end of the DM-21 nameplate in the photo. From
the factory, there were BC-312-HX and BC-312-NX. And that I know of, DM-21-AX
and DM-21-CX. Both receivers are covered in the final TM 11-850, although
it is less informative about the dynamotor models. The BC-312-HX dates from
1942 for use with the BC-223-AX. In both the Signal Corps and the AN
nomenclature systems, the letters X, Y or Z following the normal nomenclature
indicate an input operating voltage different from the original. Apparently,
the Grunt depot didn't bother to follow the rules. But, it would be an
interesting set to have, nonetheless.

The 1945 stamp is just an MFP one. Nothing unusual there.
