I had a frazzled T-17 years ago with a very large mic element. Bought it
in a basket of debris, put it on table @ Atlanta hamfest & it was gone
in minutes. Bet KK5F got it. Have regretted selling it forever.

I was pre-empted outa a flight with a banner tow fella as a kid
So roll clock fwd 30 yr.s & what turns up in key west but an operator
giving rides & he had a half-hour cancellation. Enter kids who wailed
@ thot of being left on ground. So they both went. Pre-empted
again. But older one had video camera so it's recorded. She spent
a lot of time telling bro how to ride in a biplane
Younger one now a Afghanistan C-130 driver.
