Greg, female banana jacks fit onto the connector terminals on the bottom of the TBW. No need to change the connectors!  Also what "critical" components are missing? I have a couple of transformers for the TBW if you need, given to me, and the price would be the same.

I second (their, fourth, etc.,) DON'T cut the thing up!

I have a GO-9 whose PS section was also gutted. I built in the needed supplies utilizing much of the original switching and metering, and kept the HF section all original except for the power connectors which had been removed by a previous owner. These are easy rigs to get playing. Not perfect signals from them but respectable if one pays close attention to tuning.
