A G-77 is a 12V generator for a PRC-74. See the manual at

http://www.militaryradio.com/manuals/G-43/tm11-5122.pdf

and scroll down to section 4.1. The G-77 looks like a G-43 and the manual covers both. The cover of the manual says G-43 but the
detailed pages cover both the G-43 and G-77.

The G-76 is a 24v generator for the PRC-70. There was a G-76 generator on ebay that was misrepresented as a G-77 for PRC-74 but
it was not. The seller was really confused and also said it was a G-43. See closed item number 260450913314. Opening bid was
$499.99 and it did not sell - no surprise.

 >Correct the subject in my previous to read G-77 and not G-76. The G-77 is a
much
larger gen set and has a housing that is similar to the GN-58. I am looking
for info
on the G-77.
