[Milsurplus] BC-625-A and list archives

My conversion of a BC-625 was done on a 19" rack panel in
Sacramento, CA in 1962 to get my newly-Novice-licensed wife
(then WN6DFR) on the air on voice. I still have it residing
in a short rack cabinet in the garage. One of the Japanese
vernier dials was sheared when the garage collapsed from a
tornado inM 1999 and the RA-62 power supply (and spare)
ended up in a land fill. I expect it would still work if
I just applied voltage to it!

Hi,
And thanks for all of the thoughtful replies. I assume since none of
them mentioned that we have no way to search the archives across time
on a search term like the one I asked about that is not an option.
It looks like some good memories and some nostalgia were brought out.
I like the story about seeing the tvi and knowing somebody was on the
air so it's time to fire up the vhf rig. I once found the local Field Day
site that way :)
