Hello Greg,
I can send the rear panel pinouts to you later, once I get home and
look at the manuals, but (assuming the receiver still has the original
connector), the two large pins are power, and the two small pins are
audio out. Pulling off the bottom cover and looking closely, or checking
with an ohmmeter should tell you which is ground and which is hot.
A stock receiver is wired for a nominal 24V, but as with all WWII
vintage gear, check to make sure someone, somewhere didn't modify it.
AC on the filaments, now there could be a problem. At least one of
the set of three, has an IF amp suppressor grid tied to the filament
line. IIRC, it is connected to the 12 Volt point between two series
connected tubes. Don't know why they decided to bias the suppressor
grid at +12, but it is something to be aware of.
The B+ voltage is fairly low, around 170V.
Audio output impedance, can't remember exactly, and will look
in the manual later, but it is in the 300 to 600 ohm range.
One of the surplus conversion manuals has the schematic for at least
one of the set of three and is a good place to start looking.
Hope this helps
