The 75A-4 is listed as "used by Navy" in MIL-HDBK-161 under "URR-type" -
I'll add the info to my web site some time. The listing also says there was
a "75A-4 mod" version with different freq. bands. I dunno any more than that
so far.
cheers,
Nick K4NYW

Navy use of 75A-4 receivers??? I'd like to see official
documentation. It is a 100-percent ham-band only rig.

Miltary purchase of ham rigs would likely have been
only for use in military ham and/or MARS stations.
