[Milsurplus] 1N21's and 1N23's

Almost all the older series Harris FM broadcast transmitters used that style diode in the reflectometer for sensing forward and reflected power. I have two FM-10 K series 10kW transmitters and one RCA 3 kW transmitters as standby transmitters that still use them, think the HT-20 20 kW also uses them too. The design allows them to easily be changed in the event of damage although I have never had one fail, don't know if it's the same number but definitely the same design, If you loosen the set screw on one end they just become a pin on Bothe sides don't they?

Very few power meters use these diodes. They are for mixers. Almost ANY
older WG mixer will use one or two... sometimnes 4. They are also used in
HP WG detectors and some coaxial detectors. (HP 423A).

Frankly, I'd NOT tamper with the "adjusment" screw except on a KNOWN bad one.
