The link in the OP below is very good, but the quality of the scans of the
photos is poor. There has been considerable interest in rescanning the
photos from the original books and replacing those in the .pdf file with
better ones.
To that end, I've set up a Yahoo Group, specifically to coordinate that task:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/MIT-Rad-Lab-Books/
OH NO! Not ANOTHER GROUP!! Well, offers of help have come from a number of
Groups and it seems efficient to bring all the efforts together in one
place.
If you are interested in helping, please consider joining.
Best,
-John
=====================
Following WW II, the MIT Radiation Labs published a landmark set of books
on all aspects of RADAR, in 28 volumes!
For years, they have been much sought after as references, and much of the
material is still valid. Recently, on another list, the following link was
published:
http://cer.ucsd.edu/~james/notes/MIT%20OpenCourseWare/MIT%20Radiation%20Lab/
The ENTIRE series is available there as FREE download. WOW!! The only down
side is that some of the pictures are pretty dark.
Well worth inconveniencing a few zillion electrons, IMO.
Best,
-John
