John, your ideas are very good. A CD/DVD is the way to go, 

and could be priced attractively also. It also occurred to

me that paper models, like like those sold in Europe, might

be a mover too - and low enuff priced that they would do

as an impulse purchase item.  I may be in Hawaii this Sept.

and maybe will have a chance to suggest some things i see, 

to the Bowfin or Missouri staff. 

I was VERY highly impressed by the condition of the sub

Bowfin, and by the completeness of its equipment. Quite 

a contrast to the U-505 in Chicago, altho that might have

been cleaned up somewhat now. The U-505 was moved

inside due to concerns about acid rain damaging it.
