[Milsurplus] USFS...CCC Radio Ops

The recent discussion of USFS radio operation before WWII calls to mind a similar network about which little seems to be documented:  Radio communications for the Civilian Conservation Corps.  I have a book of CCC memoirs and photos somewhere with pictures of a fixed Morse CCC station, and there is a description of an HF/AM portable set for the CCC in, IIRC, a 1937 QST.

Given the military-style organization of the CCC, it is logical that various forms of radio communications were utilized.  But there doesn't seem to be much information available on CCC radio systems, networks, and operations, and personnel.
