Moe,
Several people on this list have one and I'll leave it to them to comment on
experiences with it. I sold the only one I ever had nearly 30 years ago. It
was a competitor to the ATC except that it only covers up to the prewar
standard 9050 KC. The one you've found has the standard compliment of plug-in
tuning units. It uses a separate 28 volt dynamotor (about the same physical size
as those for the ATC) and control box. Like the ATC, you can operate it
without the control box. It uses Cannon NK-12 connectors between the transmitter
and dynamotor (different from the FK-10 used with the ATC) but the same U-10/U
DC plug. However, I'll caution anyone who gets one who also has an up and
running COL-52286 or T-47/ART-13 and dynamotor the the plus and minus pins are
reversed between the two sets. So you can't use the same DC cable for both
unless you switch the leads at the power supply end. Should you get interested in
it or sell it to someone else who is, I have the manual available.
