Well, seems all the hype Paypal and Ebay spout about themselves is pure
bunkum.

Having received an item, paid for using Paypal, which turned out to be not
as advertised I made a claim.

Paypals reply:

Our investigation into the following transaction is complete. As stated in
our User Agreement, the claims process only applies to the delivery of
goods. It does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of
goods received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or
issue a refund.

So, apparently, Paypal are quite happy to give your money away for any
rubbish, whatever it is, so long as you receive it. Now, I don't know about you
but that's what I call 'Protection'!!.

I intend taking the matter to the UK Trading Standards. I suggest anyone
else (in the UK) does the same and those in other countries contact their
consumer agencies.

The seller?, a chap in Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia. BEWARE.

Ben.
