I'm working on the estate of a SK friend. This afternoon, I came across an Eico TV-FM sweep generator. Out of curiosity, I opened it up. There was a 4" PM speaker acting as a trimmer capacitor coupled to the RF tank. A civilian version of the APN-1 unit. Very cute, IMO. The thing will show up on eBay some time in the next few months.
