Mechanical Modulator....

I remember tearing up/parting out, a unit back in the 60s that had two
electromechanical vibrators.  They fed an audio chain to modulate the
final, I believe was a pair of 807's, memory fuzzy that far back.

Don't know what it was used for but old ham buddy said they were 
"mechanical modulators" for airplane "stuff".  We had a very large 
AFB near, and a lot of gear got dumped in salvage yards.  Sure tore a lot 
of things up.

I also parted out a unit with a wobulator in it, still have it, but it sure
wasn't in the Hz frequencies, as it tuned a couple of acorn tubes in the
UHF region.
