Brad,
I never found an ARB manual for download either.
I bought a nice ARB manual reproduction from Robert Downs.
(I have an ARB receiver/ATD transmitter combo on the air).
The receiver is surprisingly a good performer, although I use an
external audio filter with it for less headache while copying CW on a
crowded band. It's not bad on AM, and stable enough, with a fairly
good level of BFO injection to copy SSB.
Clean the tuning gear and the main tuning cap bearings, and lube the
gear properly, otherwise the tuning is sort of jerky if the old grease
is dry.
