I have a 9-ampere RF ammeter, round, black face,
looks GO-9-ish.
Did i already promise this to someone and forget?
IF not- it is available pretty inexpensively. I don't
have any transmitter that large.
I have a Northern Radio (of Seattle) base radio,
0.550 - 18 Mcs. receive, 1.5-7.5 Mcs. transmit,
probably 150W AM, tunable receiver, 115/1/60
powered, abt 30" tall and 19" wide, final 3x 807
modulated by 2x 807. I would trade this for some
receiver, probably preferably a Northern 620
receiver alone (which is the rec. portion of this
3-deck unit ). Heavy, abt 130 lbs. Can hand-off
on I-5 between Corvallis OR and Seattle WA.
Or other HF marine radio with tunable receiver,
but smaller ?
I also have a Northern transmitter and PS only,
in 2-deck junior cabinet, 15" wide, 3x 6146 mod
by 2x 6146, tunes 1.6 up to possibly 14 Mcs.,
all i really like in it is the husky 600 volt ACPS,
will consider swapping the unit for an ACPS which
will power 1960s mobile ham gear needing about
600 volts.
I also have an RCAF AT-12 transmitter ( HF section
only, think of the GO without PS unit between )in transit
trunk with manual which i would swap for a smaller
transmitter to match the R-?? receiver ( type slips
my memory right now ), a transmitter such as AT-7 ??
