I've been working on an old Federal R41 receiver, and the hardest part
was getting the knobs off, because the set screws had rusted into the
phenolic.  They came out VERY hard, and one required a hack-saw.  The
hack-saw work was repaired with epoxy and paint, and is barely
detectable.
