We used 2D21's in broadcasting years ago for alarm triggers. Also used in small variable voltage power supplies.
It's big brother, the 2050, was also used in variable supplies, think one was in ARRL hand book years ago. Used in
Juke Boxes too, not sure how.

While sorting out some valves with a view to reducing the stock here I found a box marked CV797, which turns out to be an EN91 / 2D21 / CV797 xenon filled shield-grid thyratron.
Now, what on earth can I use it for ? Any ideas.
