Floyd -
Let me introduce you to a yahoo group:
TekScopes
I have found excellent contacts and information on this group. Deane
Kidd is an excellent source knows his stuff. Many X Tektronix employees.
I have an LA-545 with Dual and Four trace plugins. It can keep your
radio shack warm on a cold winters day!
I picked mine up in San Antonio Texas at a aircraft parts junk yard in
1975 both plugins could be considered NOS in original box from
Textronics via Lackland AFB. I had the whole unit calibrated at
Tracore in Austin at the time worked like a champ. Its been sitting
on the shelf since 1987. During this time I loved the 545 was real
stable and dependable. Mine is real Mil surplus LA-545.
Plugin question is a good one. There are adapter cards to use plugins
from various related units.
I would post your questions to the Yahoo group for more detailed
information and suggestions.
