Excuse me, gentlemen, but let us not berate the concept of a kludge.
I find that an elegant kludge, while sort of a contradiction in terms
to most, is so wonderful approach to solving sticky problems that I
fell into using them, hence my nickname - Kludge.  So, please, a
little respect, if you will.  :-D
