NEGATIVE! Tektronix was not founded until 1946, and the 545 was
somewhat later. They were great scopes, however, that supported the
computer boom of the sixties. While Hewlett-Packard existed, it was not
a force in the marketplace during the war years. The test equipment
scene was quite different from the Tek-HP world that most of us grew up in.
