Gee whiz, guys. My heart bleeds. Yeah, it is IP theft. It sucks.
Almost all of my first publication is on the web. Am I irritated? A
bit. Do I raise the kind of fuss you two are? Nope. What would
happen if I found out who first put it out there? I'd really rather
not say in a public forum. Does this mean everyone should quit the
information exchange? Heck, no! It means that, while you may
consider posts your intellectual property, they can wind up being used
without attributation. Or whatever that fancy word is. It's a hazard
of what is called the "information age".

Pictures and posts on the net are already in the public eye; the book
wasn't. Someone had to copy and convert it to PDF before posting it.
The difference should be obvious. I'm sure that elements of the new
book will wind up on the web somewhere as well. It's the information
age and that's a hazard of the times.

Bottom line, keep on keeping on and don't sweat the little stuff.
(And, in the end, it's all little stuff.) Have fun, share, tell a
joke and consider being quoted (whether named as the source or not) as
a compliment.

BEst regards,

Michael, WH7HG
