For those of you who are not aware of the online U.S. military magazine "Army Communicator, Voice of he Signal Regiment" the 2004 No. 4 issue has a lot of discussion of NVIS and lots of photos and some talk of the "loop" or top loaded monopole. It's well worth looking up. In fact the magazine can be very interesting for many other articles as well.

Anyone can download the "Army Communicator" at:

Wouldn't you know it, the 2004 issue #4 is missing from the on-line back issues. Kevin, can you provide an alternate location for it? Thanks.

Otherwise the site has lots of interesting reading especially at the bottom of the back issues list: WWII commo.
