One source of a case has presented itself though I'd like to find
additional pieces (receiver, power supply, etc.) later on with the
idea of one intact receiver and one two piece receiver especially for
mobile/portable use.

I had an intact receiver many years ago and loved it.  Like so much
else, it had to go when I moved (Boats are SO small!) but it went to a
loving home where it likely still lives.
