Gee, No one liked my idea of an appendix for the Ham Mod info.It could 
be short and sweet and provide the nessessary references.And who reads 
appedices anyway except those looking for further info?
  Why all the "hot and bother"? I got tired of reading all the "sour 
grapes" mail on this thread... so I just deleted about 10 or 15 
messages as I learned nothing and my eyes are sore...
  Sounds like this project of a "guide" has become a "tome" before it 
has even been written.The gathered opinions may just deter the 
prospective author from even attepting to publish his "guide".
 Too bad.
