Dave: As I recall the HC-10 was for 455 to 500 kHz IFs (though  I vaguely recall a 262 kHz IF modification)

The Collins R-388 would be my pick  (not the A which already would have mechanical filters, plus the crystal filter).

Of course, for laughs, you could try it with a Hammarlund HQ-180.  :-)
