[Milsurplus] Stinking 'bot

The owner of the mailman.qth.net site prohits
HTML on ALL lists on that server. I don't know
why it sends its messages in HTML; a bit of a
contradiction, for sure.

I wish my hotmail offered an option to set my
replies to AASCI plain text as a default. I can
select "plain text" but it is definitely a nuisance
to try to remember which lists allow and which
prohibit HTML.

The reason for the prohibition of HTML is simply
due to the fact that HTML takes so much more
space for any given message than does straight
plain text. It is my understanding from comments
by the service owner that ALL of the lists and
"homepages" on his server would be slowed to
an absolute snail's pace if HTML and attachments
were allowed.
