This console states that the location is DELCO, PA"
Now this OM happens to live in Upper Darby, PA which is, "DELCO"
I wonder where this wondrous item is located, and more to the point,
what the dude selling it wants for same.
MY problem is that I happen to live in a row house, I already have a
basement full of RATT gear and green es gray radios. I think I might
have some XYL resistance to this, as I am already under fire --hi-- for
my firearms collection and my (not a business) gunsmithing activities
"You're turning the basement into an industrial shop es you don't need
any more"
I do believe that this group recoginizes this arguement as specious, as
there is no thing as "not needing any more". This being said, I realize
the limitations of a row house, with cement steps leading to said
basement.........but boy, would I love having a console, and be able to
apply for a 600 Meter experimental license... I have worked this before,
(MF/LF/VLF) and am familiar with the operation thereof, although there
just aren't many shore stations in operation these days, nor merchies to
talk to when one has the great priveledge to operate from a shore
station (My experience is in NWP Argentia NFLD, as well as the colocated
USCG Ice Patrol Station NJN/NIK which was as near as walking from my
living room to my dining room. Matter of fact, a USCG RM1 gave me my
speed key test (Bob Finken) leading to the issue of my Speed Key cert.
In addition I have an original mill to fill out the center, as I still
use an old Underwood commo mill to copy CW I refuse to use a "puter" as
I don't belive that one should use technology to use the old ways..
Still, I wonder what this guy wants in US$ for this console, having just
expended many dinero on some things which go bang and are collectable,
and just about unobtanium today.....I believe the XYL may object on the
expenditure of more US$ with no guarantee I actually have a place to PUT
it...........still I would like to know what the asking price is --hi--
