On the BC-610 you can minimize the keying chirp by
first tuning the plug-in unit like the book says, then tweaking
the dip a bit one way or the other for best sound.
Some things like to be led with a little L and/or C in
their tanks.  You BC-640 fans know how its oscillator
was done, for stabiliity they said.
