I bought 3 radios from Harry at Redstar and the 73B was one of them. It
is a nice little backpack with analog dials (separate rcv & xmit) and is
am/cw. None of the docs that came with show power output but current
drain with 24v battery is 550ma xmit. It covers 1.7 - 6 mhz.

I've only ever seen pictures of the single unit 102E on Bill Howard's
site. All of what Harry sold were the two piece units. It is also known
as the S1031 as the docs reflect both model numbers. The receiver is
available separately as the 139. It uses vacuum tubes but the two later
versions (139B & C) are solid state.
I have the 139B which is a nice little compact receiver. Covers 1.5 - 18
mhz.
