An old friend of mine, K5LSV, took the CREI course
while he was still in the US Air Force. The course
included was assembling and aligning the big Heathkit
Color TV set (with console and all), paid for by the
G.I. Bill.

They’re definitely worth getting - the CREI (and National Radio Institute)
books do a really good job of explaining the electronic technology of their era

Back in the sixties and early seventies, this was an electronic home correspondance
course.

If any one has the books and wants to sell them, I would be willing to pay for them.
(of course, no one will give them away and I don't blame them.).
