[Milsurplus] eBay does it

Never mind about ebay ripping us off, the sellers can do that. 

 
I wanted an external cd drive. Seller wanted £19.99 postage. 
When I queried this his reply was:
 
Thanks for your message 
Please understand postage include  shipping and handling fee. 
Regards
 
 
So, postage (within UK) would be £4 so that's £16  just for 'handling' !
Though it is also a rip off store I'd rather go to Comet. 
 
By the way, if going to Comet be advised their fault policy is if the thing  
breaks after 2 weeks they repair it, not replace it. So, if your new toy lasts 
 all of 15 days they will send it away to be repaired rather than give you a  
replacement. Trading Standards are ok with this, or so they told me after my  
complaint to them after a new vcr failed on the 3rd week of use.
