Hi Mark!
    FYI, SO is nothing more than rubber covered line cable.  It could 
also be SJO, SOO, etc.  These designations are NEC specific and refer to 
petroleum and solvent resistance.  You wouldn't know the difference just 
looking at it.  Most big box home improvement stores carry something 
along that line.  What in particular were you looking for, as far as 
use?
