I had mistakenly assumed "most" PBY converted from GO/RAX
to ART-13/BC-348 but i was last nite looking at a Navy publicity
photo of the radio op on a PBY. Before him were 2 RU receivers
and the photo was dated Dec. 43, but no location. Again i say,
due to the supply situation of the Pacific War at that time, with
the best of many things going to Europe, my guess is that the PBYs
in the Pacific area were still with GO/RU. 
As for the Japanese radar captured, i have some photos of the
antennas of these radars and they look rather abused by the rough
treatment of the Allied visitors. Japan did capture some working 
268 radars, first in the Philippines, also maybe Guam? -Hue
