I'll add my "amen."
I run my BC-375 on 75 AM "stock," with dyno and have
no FMing problems. I neutralize it while listening in the FM mode
on an ICOM rig. Very little chirp on CW, either.
With the cover on, it reaches thermal stablity in about an hour
and stays on frequency pretty well after that.
It doesn't FM much on 40 meters, but it does drift down
for about two seconds from key-down; about 1.5 KC.
Just enough to be annoying ;-). So I stick to 160 and 75 with it.
I did adjust the keying relay, which is not nearly as tough as
it looks at first. I also "hand picked" the best 211 for the
oscillator. There was some variation in stability with
different tubes, but I've misplaced the paper where I made notes.
I'll do that again this winter and report on it.
