Oh, I don't know I'd call battlewagons ugly.  Granted, they're kind of
ungainly holes in the water as opposed to the sheer beauty and
elegance of an aircraft carrier or the "roll up your sleeves & get the
job done" attitude of destroyers, they have - well, had - their place
in life even though their dance cards were rarely filled.
