[Milsurplus] 1-2 F caps

We have discussed using beefy caps in conjunction with conventional
linear PSU's as a means of starting dynos without the "Crowbar Effect"
in the PSU. Anyone have a non-car audio source for these? 

 

Everything I have found is at least $50, shiny chrome with flashing
LED's, digital readouts, wooden display cases "with glass viewing
window", and FAR more $$ than I'm willing to spend right now

..............or has a 5V rating.

 

I could home-brew a capacitor bank but would need a wheelbarrow to move
it.
