[Milsurplus] Type 180 crystals

Clete, i've never seen anything in print about underground
groups in WW2 making their own vacuum tubes. Reference?
I think there were enuff radio parts around still to scrounge.
Ditto for grinding crystals. Much better use of time to just have
them smuggled in or airdropped.
Mark seemed to indicate there was only one quartz inside this
package.
"Maybe" some radio comm equipment manufacturer just 
wanted to insure that the end user only bought crystals from
them?  Hi hi - just guessing, i'm stumped.  -Hue
