Jay you must be right since the gun is so pictured @ the "radio op interview"
web site.  Gun behind top ball turret.

I was going on conversational memory with another radio op... who I saw
on PBS last night during a CAF short!

I wrongly thot APG-5s were bombing-thru-overcast radars bu found fm
him radars code-named 'mickey mouse.'  Again see same web site.  British
used H2S on 3gig.s & ours was H2X on 10 gigs.  I get the X

Radar op became waist gunner when needed.
