I hope I can clear up somethings about the Collings Foundation.
Back in 1985 I was the President of our local Amatur Radio Club. The
foundation had the B17 at the Valparaiso Indiana Airport.Bob Collings is
from Valpo and his mother still lives there.Anyway with that first trip here
we became friends no close freinds but freinds.Over the time I have given
his some WWll radio stuff for his aircraft. But only put some in it not
working or will ever be.IT CAN NOT BE USED.They have the items of radio
equiptment that is required at this time. With all the haul from place to
place and with the rides given they just dont have room.for more things that
will not be used.
I think the planes will be here this year
By the way his daughter is mairried to the polit of the B 24
