Good report, Ray. Only surprised me that the prices generally seemed
quite reasonable - at least before the reseller mark-ups were applied -
and that the LM's were that unreasonably high - i'm used to seeing
them in the $10-20 range - at least out West.
I think the trick to pricing the gear must be, low enuff for the 
average enthusiast, but high enuff to discourage the re-marketers.

And why are the R-1051 still that high? Who wants a digit by digit
step tuned receiver???  Useless! -Hue Miller
