I dunno if this was the same incident. In the thing i saw, the flame started 
some tens of
seconds after the crewman climbed out. The German tank was parked in some 
street
backed up to a mound of debris, which the crewman had to climb over to 
retreat. The
flame as i recall, was on or out of the cupola only.  The camera jostled and 
the view
jumped around, and the narrator said this was due to concussion, but this 
was AFTER
the hit on the tank and after the crewman first appeared. Does this sound 
like the same
incident? It went by pretty fast. When i think of abandoned armor i always 
think of doing
some souvenir hunting. Pretty difficult to do as a GI and hide tank radios 
in your duffle
bag. Even if you do scrounge some stuff it's most likely to be stolen by the 
transport
services men if you ever have your gear out of your sight and transported by 
them.
