I'm not sure I like this "new policy" of masking the bidders name
after
a certain amount is bid. I'm sure most people here are like me and if
you see a fellow list member of buddy biding on an item you don't want
to compete and run the price up for him. I'm sure the new policy
offers
some degree of protection. However, I would imagine most people would
have enough sense to check out any offers that were made after an item
sold. But, what do I know... Sorry, I guess this really isn't a
military type post.

I think it stinks. IMO it's a new eBay 'revenue enhancement' scheme,
masquerading as a 'security enhancement' feature.
